Everyone’s getting married one after another.
So yesterday, I attended a friend’s wedding. It was hey-okay I guess. To me, it’s more to a reunion because those that I haven’t met for ages were there too ! So I left the house at 730am. Mind you. It’s early in the morning. I was all sleepy when I reached my friend's house. The first thing that we’d always do was that we would ask each other “Eh, did I grow fat?” or “Eh, did I grow taller?” Girls. Since we haven’t been meeting for quite some time, it’s nice to hear the words coming out from their mouth from answering the questions. Settled down, 10 plus, headed out. Yadda yadda. Reached the guy’s place at 12 plus. Had lunch there and we, being the tak tau malu people, slack there for almost 8 hours. Yes. It was until 8pm.
When you’ve been friends with someone for a long time, you’ll look somewhat like her.
And yes, the makciks there was asking whether the 3 of us are related or not as in, are we siblings? Wth wth. It did happen a couple of times though, so it’s no surprise.
We got bored by then so we found a driver which is my friend’s friend, who drove us to Boat Quay. Okay if you’re thinking that we went there with our Baju Kurungs and all, you’re wrong. We did change first before going there. And it’s no surprise if we get lost which we actually did because the driver just passed his driving license for about 3 months or so and is unfamiliar with the directions and stuffs. But one thing, I just love his driving skills. It was like a roller coaster ride. Since there aren’t many vehicles on the road, he made the road as if he owns it. And please, he was carrying 7 other lives with him. And because of that, he made me sit at the edge of my chair and nearly made me puke. Not only me, but my friend too.
And he still has the cheek to ask “Eh, aku bawak ni laju nah ke sampai orang nk muntah2.” Dang ! Tell whether he’s being dumb or he’s just acting dumb. Lol. But still, I want it to happen again. It was total fun I tell you !
No pictures for today. You can just imagine the situation that is happening. I’m not telling who just got married because not many of them knows about it. So yes ! Secrets are not meant to be broken ! (:
